TickleFace was born from one very simple question: what would happen if you could tickle someone's face through a screen? We couldn't resist finding out.
What started as a silly weekend experiment turned into the laugh-a-minute experience you're using right now. No serious business plan. No grand strategy. Just the goal of making the internet a little sillier — and giving everyone an excuse to properly, breathlessly laugh.
🤖 What TickleFace Actually Does
Upload a selfie or point your camera at your face, and our browser-based face detection engine maps out exactly where your nose, cheeks, forehead, chin, and ears are. Hover your cursor — or slide your finger on mobile — across the zones, and each part of your face reacts with its own laugh sound, building up the Tickle-O-Meter through four escalating levels of hilarity.
Your real photo stays on screen the whole time — there is no cartoon and no filter covering your face. As you tickle each zone, the laugh sounds escalate, the frame shakes, and the Tickle-O-Meter climbs, so the reaction builds around your actual selfie rather than a stand-in character.
You can also record a video of yourself trying to keep a straight face, save it directly to your device, and share the chaos with friends. And when you need a break from laughing, challenge your group to the Tongue Twister speed game — with a live stopwatch and session leaderboard.

- 📹Browser MediaRecorder API captures your webcam feed locally and saves the resulting video directly to your device.
- 🏆The Tongue Twister leaderboard runs entirely in browser memory — no server, no account, no data stored anywhere.

Your photos and camera feed never leave your device. All face detection and zone calculation run locally in your browser. There are no user accounts, no stored images, no server-side face processing.
